All media representatives, both local and international, wishing to attend the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2021 must apply directly via the FIBA Media Portal.
The application period will open on Monday 24 May and close on Friday 25 June 2021.
The FIBA Media Portal is available in English, Chinese, French and Spanish.
The submission of a media accreditation request will be possible after registration only. Should you already have an account, please use your email address and password to sign-in and select your event.
We remind you that only professional members of the media will be considered for accreditation and that only applications completed and submitted online within the media accreditation application deadlines will be taken into consideration.
DECISIONS
Media credentials will be awarded on the basis of the professional history of the applying media, relevance to the event and basketball in general, as well as space availability in the venues.
FIBA will ultimately be responsible for the delivery of the accreditation decisions and distribution of badges for the event.
Regarding the Covid situation, each Traveller wishing to enter Latvia must provide their travel information via Covid pass: https://covidpass.lv/en/ and additionally traveler will have to confirm that 72 hours before entering the Republic of Latvia have performed the Covid-19 test and can show a negative result or can present a medical document confirming that has no infectious. These are requirements at the moment.
