USA out for get-back at at FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Quebec Stop 2024
Quebec (CANADA) - Team USA will be out for redemption after Springfield stop loss at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series W Quebec Stop 2024 on June 29 - 30.
THE FAVORITES
It was Canada who got the win last time they faced off in the W series Opener in Springfield this season. Team USA will aim to change that result this time out in Quebec.
Led by Olympians Cierra Burdick and Hailey Van Lith, it’ll be all gas no brakes from the Americans. The two have worked together sublimely in the past with Burdick opening the floor for Van Lith to flourish as the lead scorer. Sydney Taylor and Kennedy Brown round off the team as they’ll add shot creation and defensive efforts to the side.

It’ll be a tough pool phase as they’ll take on American side Dallas 3XBA, Puerto Rico and Freiburg (GER).
THE FIELD
Don’t count at the home side just yet. Reigning W series champs Canada will be on the other side of pool phase as they’ll look to repeat their heroics in Springfield.
They will be without the dominant Plouffe sisters, but they’ll be versatile as ever with the other two members of their Olympic core taking to the court in Paige Crozon and Kacie Bosch. They’ll bring sharpshooting and defensive grit as always. They’ll be joined by the duo of Mackenzie Smith and Cassandra Brown who have been immense for the side recently, adding to their intensity.
They’ll be in Pool action against Barcelona Panthers (ESP), Chile and local side Quebec.
