Players to watch at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Macau 2024

MACAU - 3x3 superstars are ready to flex as the FIBA 3x3 World Tour returns to Macau on October 19-20.

Let's look at the players you just have to watch at the 12th stop on this year's incredible World Tour.

Strahinja Stojacic (Ub Huishan NE)

What happens when you question 'Doctor Strange'? He made sure the half-court was his multiverse after stunningly holding onto 3x3's crown by leading Ub Huishan NE (SRB) to the title in Amsterdam

Stojacic made a major statement and reminded everyone that he remains the very best player on the planet after an all-round masterpiece that inspired Ub to their third title on this season's World Tour.

Fittingly, he called game with another legendary Maurice Lacroix Buzzer Beater to sink rival Liman (SRB) in a classic final.

We're getting to the business end of the season and that just means Stojacic will be locked and loaded every time he steps on the half-court.

Dennis Donkor (Riffa)

Dennis once again menaced on the half-court in another ridiculous display in Amsterdam, where he was among the leaders in all the major stats. Donkor is clearly having a standout season and has gone up a level.

He was always great but not this GREAT! Donkor is ranked No.1 in player-value per game for those who have played more than 10 games with a crazy mark of 9.3.

Donkor is a scoring machine as underlined by boasting the third highest average for those who played at least 10 games. And we all know he's a lockdown beast which makes him a contender to be the best player on this season's World Tour up to now.

Donkor is coming up clutch and will be out to continue his purple patch in Macau.

Franck Seguela (Paris)

The Olympic silver medalist will be extra pumped up after Paris had a rare early exit in Amsterdam to end their amazing run in recent months.

Seguela, however, lost no admirers to produce a lone hand effort to average 7.5 ppg and he was an insane 70% from deep.

He will need more support in Macau, but Seguela shows no signs of fatigue despite his crazy schedule ever since those heroic feats at La Concorde. Seguela is not just a human highlight reel, but an ironman as he will again show in Macau.

Stefan Milivojevic (Partizan Meta Force)

Partizan are one of the highest rated teams to not have won a title on this season's World Tour.

Stefan Milivojevic, their best player, will be determined to change that in Macau as he eyes making the half-court his personal Colosseum. He's been electric in 2024 averaging almost 6 ppg and dishing up plenty of crazy moves along the way.

There aren't many more players as jacked as Milivojevic, who could very well end up flexing on opponents in Macau. If he does that then Partizan might just finally achieve a breakthrough.

Stefan Kojic (Liman)

So much has been asked of Chef Kojic all season long. And to end Liman's disappointing World Tour run, he had to reach new heights to get his team back in title contention.

Of course this legendary sniper responded with aplomb to produce a scoring binge in Amsterdam, where he tallied a leading 45 points from 5 games. He was on fire to lead Liman to their best finish on the World Tour as they fell narrowly to Ub.

Liman also finished runner-up to Ub in last year's Macau Masters, but if Kojic cooks up a storm then they might finally claim a dub in 2024.

Fabian Giessmann (St Pauli)

Buckle up because this German is taking flight and he's ready to make his mark on the big stage.

Fabian Giessmann has deservedly been hyped for ages but this dunking machine is the real deal as he showed after winning the MVP at the Mugunghwa Challenger

His confidence will be sky high as one of the hottest prospects on the planet aims for a breakout on the World Tour.

DeMarcus Cousins (Wuxi WenLv)

Ready for round 2? There has never been a World Tour debut like when former NBA superstar DeMarcus Cousins made headlines around the world for his monstrous performance in Wuxi.

'Boogie' single-handedly led hometown heroes Wuxi WenLv on a semi-final run and topped the scoring charts with 46 points in four games.

And he looked like he was just getting warmed up because you know he will be even better second time around on a half-court that clearly suits him.

And we're not quite done because there are numerous other stars we just have to give a shout out to. You'll be amazed by the two-way abilities of Dulguun Enkhbat, while your jaws will drop when you see sniper Antonio Ralat heat up in the clutch.

Henry Caruso is crazy athletic, while Ryo Ozawa and Attila Demeter are certified bucket getters. And Andrew Kelly will be Robin to Boogie Cousins in 3x3's new superhero duo.
