China aiming first stop win at FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Wuhan Stop 2024

Wuhan (CHINA) - Top-seeded China hope to capitalize on home support to get their first stop win of the season at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Wuhan Stop 2024 on June 29 - 30.

THE FAVORITES

After a tough loss in the final to long-standing rivals Australia in Chengdu, China will be coming out blazing in Wuhan. Star Talisman Lili Wang makes her debut in the W series this season and will look to Marshall her side to a stop win. 

Alongside her will be Mingling Chen who offers a strong presence in the paint while Ji Yuan Wan and Kun Huang will look to space out the floor and add to their versatility. 

Paris awaits for team China and they’ll be looking to build momentum heading into the grand show in a months time.  

They’ll take on Thailand, the Philippines and Chinese Taipei in Pool action.

THE FIELD

Competition won’t be a pushover though as recent winners Mongolia will be in action on the other side of the Pool phase. 

After their success in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia will be out to add to their accolades. Recent MVP Khulan Onolbaatar will take to the court alongside playmaker Bulbul Murat and scoring machine Ariuntsetseg Bat-Erdene. They’ll be joined by Enkhtuul Bazargurev who’ll add a new dimension to the side.

They'll be facing China U23, Wuhan Sanfran and Singapore in Pool B.
